We are a resource centre stocking many:

- Book Aid – by collecting second-hand Christian books and Bibles all year
The staff collect items together for Food Bank and SCRATCH. We also take in used stamps which are then passed on to the Leprosy mission.
Find it here, buy it here! Keep books on the high street
Celebrate bookshops in your community.

Here's what you just did by keeping books on the high street.
You kept money in the local economy, you embraced what makes us unique, you created local jobs, you helped the environment, you nurtured community, you helped keep the high street healthy, you created more choice, you benefited from our expertise, you invested in our entrepreneurship and you made us a destination. Thank you!

Peter Gladwin
"Out of the Ashes" - Peter Gladwin was barely one when a domestic fire left him partly disabled and horribly scarred. He was raised on a rough council estate in Halifax. Peter was always in trouble with the police, in and out of care homes, spending his time on the streets. Then he was stabbed and effectively lost the use of his right arm. Every relationship failed. Peter took refuge in gambling, drinking and drugs until an encounter that would change his life forever.....

A group we have most recently financially supported
The Teso Relief Campaign started in 1986. Since 1989 the trust has supported a wide range of projects carried through by its partners, notably the Church of Uganda and the Pentecostal Assemblies of God. These have included:
- Emergency relief: food aid, mosquito nets, and sanitation
- Provision of basic necessities for the internally displaced persons living in camps
- Resettlement of internally displaced persons through providing seeds and tools
- Micro business loan schemes
- Improvement of farming through training, tools and restocking
Rev. Terry Hinks
The book signing was very successful with many forming an "orderly queue" to have a personally signed copy of his first book, "God's Passion – Praying with Mark".
This is Terry's first book in a series entitled, "Praying with the Gospels" – the next one being eagerly anticipated!
